As a soprano soloist, Rainsong performs recitals featuring 17th century solo song repertoire with lutenist Stephen Toombs and organist/harpsichordist Nicole Keller. She is the soprano soloist in Ensemble Lautenkonzert, a Baroque chamber ensemble led by Stephen Toombs.

Rainsong is a professional choral musician active in several ensembles. She sings in the chorus of Apollo’s Fire, the Cleveland Baroque Orchestra. She is a founding member of the Cleveland vocal chamber ensemble Quire Cleveland, she performs with the Ithaca, NY-based lute song ensemble Mignarda, and she is a chorister at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Cleveland.

Rainsong also performs her own compositions for soprano soloist and chamber ensembles. She has written many pieces for Dilling harp and has performed these with harpist Jocelyn Chang. She also has been the soprano soloist in several of her own song cycles.
